Computing for Absolute Beginners – with Rick Ladds

A course designed for those who have no (or very little) computing experience. It starts from absolute zero but by the end of the course, you will be able to confidently start your laptop, browse the web, and send emails. (Please bring your laptop with you if you have one.)

Introduction to Digital Photography - with Rick Ladds
THIS COURSE IS FULL!

This course covers all aspects of using a digital camera with your PC. You will learn how to transfer photos to a PC, print photos, prepare  slide shows, use album programmes and use editing programmes. (Please bring your camera and your laptop with you if you have one.)

Using Your Laptop – with Rick Ladds
THIS COURSE IS FULL!

This course is for those who have, or are thinking of getting, a laptop/PC. The course assumes no prior knowledge whatever, and covers the laptop features, Windows 7 basics, the Internet, Emails, and “hobby” programmes  such as Photos, Genealogy, Music, DVDs.

ARTS & CRAFTS

Figure Drawing from Life” – a two day course
with Rosie Newman
(BA Hons Fine Art ) Artist and Art Lecturer
COURSE COMPLETED!
Learn to draw the human form in a fun and relaxed class.
Working with a live model, you will gain some figure drawing experience, with the emphasis on the creative use of materials to portray and interpret the figure within the composition.
Ideal for those wishing to develop an art portfolio but all levels welcome, from experienced to novice.

If possible, please bring along any of the following items:-
Newsprint paper/sketchbook/sugar paper / rough paper
Drawing paper or sketch book A1 /A2
Graphite Pencils HB, 2B, 4B/ Charcoal - condensed and willow
Conte pencils & crayons Earth tones/Eraser/Pencil sharpener Drawing board/Masking tape/ water based paints (no oils please)
A tip for the model would be appreciated
